This Privacy Policy explains how Antares Media Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information across our website, communications (including SMS), and client services. We are a federally incorporated Canadian corporation and operate in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti‑Spam Legislation (CASL).

Antares Media Inc. is a creative production and digital marketing company based in Ontario, Canada. We provide services including video production, photography, web design, and related consulting.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

- Identity & Contact: name, business name, email address, phone number, mailing address, social handles.

- Communications: messages, emails, call notes, meeting recordings (where lawfully permitted with notice), SMS messages.

Project & Transaction: project scope, creative briefs, approvals, invoices, payments (processed via third‑party payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers).

Technical: IP address, device/browser details, pages visited, time on page, referral URLs, and cookies or similar technologies (see Cookies section).

Media: photos, videos, logos, and other assets you provide for projects.

Consent Records: your consent choices for email/SMS and records of when/how consent was obtained (including verbal consent scripts).

We collect information directly from you (forms, email, phone, meetings), automatically via our website analytics and cookies, and from trusted service providers/partners as described below.

How We Use this information

We use personal information to:

- Deliver services you request (project planning, production, delivery).

- Communicate about bookings, deadlines, approvals, deliverables, invoices, support, and service updates (including via SMS where consented).

- Operate and secure our website and systems (troubleshooting, analytics, security monitoring).

- Improve our services, workflows, and client experience.

- Marketing with consent, or where permitted by law (e.g., informing clients of new offerings relevant to past engagements).

- Compliance with legal, regulatory, tax, and contractual obligations; to prevent fraud; to enforce our agreements.

Lawful Bases (PIPEDA principles & international alignment): consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests (balanced with your rights), and legal compliance.

SMS Terms, Consent & Opt-Out (CASL-Compliant)

We may send text messages (SMS) for booking confirmations, reminders, and important project updates only where you have provided consent (including written, online, or verbal consent).

What you can expect:

- Purpose: booking confirmations, reminders, time‑sensitive project updates, and support.

- Frequency: varies by project stage and your preferences.

- Charges: message & data rates may apply.

- Opt‑Out: text STOP at any time to unsubscribe from SMS. You may also email elias@antaresmedia.ca to opt out.

- Help: text HELP for help.

- Privacy & Terms: this Privacy Policy governs data handling for SMS.

Verbal consent language we use:
“Would you like to receive updates by text? We’ll be sending you booking reminders and important project updates from Antares Media Inc. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. At any time you can text HELP for help or STOP to opt out. For our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy you can go to antaresmedia.ca/privacy.

Carrier clause: All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt‑in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

You can continue to receive service emails even if you opt out of SMS.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our site, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve content. You may control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit site functionality.

Service Providers & Third-Party disclosures

Examples include: Webflow (website/hosting), email/SMS platforms, cloud storage and file delivery providers, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), CRM platforms, e‑signature platforms, and payment processors. These providers process personal information on our instructions for the purposes described above.

We do not sell personal information.

We may disclose information when required by law, to establish or exercise legal claims, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in the context of a business transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition) subject to appropriate safeguards.

International Transfers

Some service providers may process information outside Canada (e.g., the United States or other jurisdictions). For marketing: you can unsubscribe from email via the link in any campaign message. For SMS: text STOP to opt out at any time.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Our website may contain links to third‑party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any website you visit.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page; in certain cases we may provide additional notice.
